I worked in photoshop 7 for a long long time. In the old version, when you pressed Undo, you would keep working in whatever layer you were on, no nonsense. But in newer versions (CS3/4, Elements 6, etc.) whenever you press Undo, if you have changed layers from the last step, THE DAMN THING GOES BACK TO THE LAYER YOU WERE ON BEFORE. I've finally gotten fed up with this crap, as it is making my layerwork sloppy and driving me nuts that I have to tell it to go back to the layer I selected every damn time I change a layer, make one mark, then have to undo it. I need to make the program stop doing this and I can't find any method of doing so in the preferences. Anyone have insight?
